A WikiMasters alternative: WikiDeck
WikiMasters made Wikipedia trading cards popular in France. WikiDeck takes the idea another way: six universes, albums you can finish, a booster to open before you even sign up, and it is playable in English. Here are the two games side by side.

What WikiDeck does differently
Try it before you sign up
The first booster opens on the home page, without an account. Its cards are kept if you sign up afterwards.
Collections you can finish
Every card belongs to a universe and to albums: all the games of a franchise, all the films of a director, the gods of a mythology. A finished album pays credits.
Rarity does not depend on fame
Every card can come out in all six rarities, at published odds. A forgotten subject can be Legendary just as well as a classic.
The game follows you into Discord
WikiDeck also opens as a Discord Activity, on desktop and on a phone: same account, same collection, same auctions.
When WikiMasters is still the right pick
You read French and want to collect the whole encyclopedia, down to the smallest village: WikiMasters covers every article of French Wikipedia, WikiDeck keeps to six universes.
You want to play against your friends: WikiMasters has quiz duels, guilds and a leaderboard. There are no battles in WikiDeck, which is about collecting and trading.
